BAKHSHALI, KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA — April 13, 2026 — Chakor Foundation recently hosted a landmark gathering in Bakhshali, bringing together community leaders and development stakeholders to deliberate on a comprehensive framework for regional progress. The session underscored the Foundation’s commitment to transforming underprivileged communities through education, economic empowerment, and sustainable energy solutions.

The meeting covered four key areas that the Foundation and its partners believe will make a real difference for the people of Bakhshali. Each topic was discussed seriously, with a focus on turning plans into action rather than keeping them on paper.

The first proposal was to set up an IT Institute in the area. This would give young people the chance to learn modern technology skills and improve their prospects in today’s job market. The second topic was expanding the scholarship program to help more deserving students access higher education who may not be able to afford it on their own.

The third area discussed was a jobs scheme aimed at helping unemployed people find work and supporting those who want to start small businesses. Finally, the meeting also focused on providing solar energy systems to low-income families, so that more households can have access to reliable and affordable electricity.

The meeting was attended by several respected community figures, including Nigar Ahmad Khan, Sahibzada Faiz ur Rahman, Babu Ji, Ikram Ullah Khan, Arsal Hayat, Niaz Ali Khattak, and many others. All those present expressed strong support for the plans put forward.

“When people come together with honest intentions and a common purpose, progress becomes possible. This meeting was a clear example of that.”

The Bakhshali meeting is an important step in the Foundation’s ongoing work in the region. With clear goals set for 2025, including more scholarships, school uniforms for over 25,000 students, solar installations in 10 more schools, and two new virtual health clinics, Chakor Foundation remains committed to making a lasting difference. The enthusiasm shown at this gathering is a strong sign that the community is ready to move forward together.
